The yellow duck means nothing. Really. It's just here as a placeholder.
If we had an ad here, you might click on it and that would take you away from this page which is not what we'd want.
So ignore the yellow duck. Seriously. Stop thinking about the duck.
No duck. Stop.
How to Write a Guest Post for the 60 Second Marketer Blog.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably interested in writing a guest blog post for members of the 60 Second Marketer community.
Here are a few tips to get you going:
Most of our blog posts are mini-tutorials that are “How To” in nature.
Guest posts run about 400 to 500 words.
At the end of your story, the reader should walk away with information that they can put to use immediately.
Avoid pontificating about "future paradigms" or "the next strategic wave." Our readers are more practical than that and want to read about new marketing techniques they can put to use today.
Use a conversational style in your copy. Imagine you’re talking to a friend over lunch.
The most popular posts tend to include lists of tips and techniques (e.g. "20 Ways You Can Become a Twitter Power User" or "15 Worst Email Marketing Mistakes.")
Other popular posts include case studies of major brands' marketing programs -- just be sure to wrap up those kind of stories with a list of learnings and action steps drawn from the case study.
The bottom line is that people read the 60 Second Marketer blog to find new tools, tips and techniques they can use immediately in their own marketing programs.
