  • For every 100 users you follow, 31 will follow you back
  • Followers are 72% more likely to buy from you
  • 73% of followers want updates on future products
  • 61% of followers want to offer ideas and feedback, so start engaging with them
  • Offering your followers a special promotion offer increases the likelihood of them purchasing by 349%

    • Hi Herb -- Depending on what profession you're in, I would suggest using Twitter and all other social media to supplement your existing efforts. Social media isn't a silver bullet (no pun) -- it's a great tool to use in addition to your other sales and marketing programs. Good luck!

      • I am fervent in not only Twitter, but Facebook and LinkedIn, as well. Additionally, I would like to either do an e-blast or blog, however, it takes a little bit more time than first anticipated; I am figuring it out very slowly regarding the aspects of not only social media, but other marketing avenues, as you suggested.
