If you’re like I am, you probably attended plenty of marketing conferences and have been bored out of your mind. Many events use the same model — plastic trade show booths, hit-or-miss speakers, and overpriced tickets. But I just spoke at an event in Austria that has turned the marketing event industry on its head.
The event really isn’t an event at all — it’s a festival. The difference being that many marketing conferences are staid, predicable, and … cheesy. But the Marketing Rockstars Festival is engaging, interactive, and fresh.
What’s the biggest difference? The fact that the entire festival is about creating experiences rather than passive, uninteresting lectures. As a result, attendees learn more, network more, and leave the festival with more actionable information.
