On Sunday morning, I’ll be interviewed by CNN to discuss which Super Bowl commercials will be the winners, and which spots will be the losers. It should be an interesting conversation.

If you’re up early, tune in — otherwise, I’ll share the CNN segment on the blog on Monday morning.

In the meantime, here are several of the spots that look like they’ll be winners this year. I collected some data on each spot to come up with a Like Ratio — a ratio that provides an indicator of which spots will be the big winners on Sunday. Check it out.

Amazon Alexa Wins Big

This year’s big winner is the spot for Amazon Alexa, which has everything going for it – a cameo from Jeff Bezos, a funny script, and tons of star power. This spot has an eye-popping Like Ratio of 24.2 and is going to be the big winner on Sunday.

M&M’s Tickles the Funny Bone

Whoever came up with the M&M’s characters is a genius. They’re the characters that keep going, and going, and going. (Yes, ad nerds, that’s a cross-reference to the Energizer Bunny spots.)

The M&M’s spot has a Like Ratio of 9.6, which is very high.

Budweiser Tugs at the Heart Strings

Not all great spots evoke laughter. This touching spot from Budweiser is uplifting and inspiring – something the country needs more of these days. The Like Ratio here is 4.6

Michelob Ultra Scores Big with Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt stars in this very funny spot for Michelob Ultra. Any spot that pokes a little fun at a mega-star is a winner, in my book. The Like Ratio isn’t as high as I would expect – just 2.4 – but the comments show that Chris has a very loyal and strong following.
