It’s that time of year again, when we all huddle around the water cooler to talk about the best (and worst) Super Bowl commercials of 2016.
Last year, we had some amazing commercials, including this one that was previewed during my interview on CNN.
This year, there were some equally brilliant commercials, starting with this one promoting Avacados from Mexico.
The most controversial spot will be this one from Mountain Dew. I love it. What do you think?
Of course, every game must have winners and losers. Sadly, Squarespace wasted a ton of money on a campaign that is not only un-funny, but has absolutely nothing to do with their product/service.
Did I miss your favorite Super Bowl commercial this year? If so, let us know — we’d like to hear from you.

I loved the Amazon commercial. Thought it was a great demonstration of product and funny as heck. Although all the star appearances probably cost a pretty penny, but then again they are Amazon! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTz5jAn-XX8
Great points, Jana. I agree!
Jamie,
Great roundup. I liked the creative of the avocados from Mexico, but they totally broke creative from the prior year. i think they should have continued in that vein to make it do even better.
Yup. I agree, Guy. Hey, will we see you at the Mobile X Festival Mixer? I just sent you an invite. If you didn't get it, let me know.
I also like Amazon commercials)
Thanks for the update, Andrew. I liked them, too.
